The Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Young Adults’ Fellowship (PCG YAF) national president, Dr. Philip Kwaku Kankam toured Sekyere Presytery and also inspected the ongoing pavilions by the church within the area.
Sekyere Presbytery of The Presbyterian Church of Ghana is constructing pavilions for fellowship within the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to the people in the community, the national President of YAF, Dr. Philip Kwaku Kankam said “the construction of the pavilions is in line with the church’s efforts at supporting communities in order to champion the work of God”.
For the members within the Sekyere Presbytery, the pavilions that are being constructed has come as a huge relief following the struggles they previously endured in a bid to get worship place.
Dr. Philip Kwaku Kankam noted that the initiative by the Church has brought hope for the people in these presbyteries, and called on other churches and organisations to emulate the good example of The Prebyterian Church of Ghana so as to facilitate the spread of the gospel across the country.
“The Prebyterian Church of Ghana, therefore, aims at providing accessibility and condusive space to facilitate the work of God to our church and the nearby communities,” he stressed.
He appealed to the beneficiary communities to help maintain the pavilions by avoiding such acts.
The national President of YAF, Dr. Philip Kwaku Kankam, on behalf of the Young Adults’ Fellowship and people of the area, lauded the Church for the project.
