The Young Adults’ Fellowship (YAF) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana is set to hold a grand induction service for its newly elected National Officers. The much-anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 8:00 AM at the Christ the King Congregation, Sefwi Wiawso.
Under the theme “Celebrating Our Heritage: Persisting in Mission Inspired by Our Hope,” the event will highlight the commitment of the new leaders in ensuring the continuous growth and spiritual development of YAF members across the country. The theme is anchored on 1 Corinthians 15:58 and 2 Timothy 4:1-5, which emphasize steadfastness in faith and dedication to the work of the Lord.
The Sefwi Presbytery has the honor of hosting this induction service, which is expected to attract dignitaries, church leaders, and members from various Presbyteries nationwide. The ceremony will be a momentous occasion, bringing together the YAF community to witness the official assumption of office by the newly appointed executives.
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Department of Church Life and Nurture continues to play a significant role in nurturing the youth and young adults of the church, ensuring they remain active participants in the church’s mission and vision. The new officers will be entrusted with the responsibility of steering the affairs of YAF, promoting evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development among young adults in the church.
As the national officers take on their new mandate, the church calls on all members to support them in prayer and active participation in YAF’s programs. The event will also serve as a platform to foster unity, renewal of commitment, and strategic planning for the future growth of the fellowship.
