Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Young Adults’ Fellowship (PCG YAF) holds Induction Service

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Young Adults’ Fellowship (PCG YAF) climaxed its 2022 YAF Evangelism Week with the induction and inauguration of the newly elected National YAF Officers.

The Nine-Member National Executives would play an advisory role by volunteering time, reporting on the activities of the Fellowship in the country and initiating programs to project the activities of YAF.

The 2022 YAF Evangelism Week took off from 21st to 26th February 2022 with the theme “Jesus Christ, The Light of The World Radiating The Light Through Evangelism” (John 8:12, Philippians 2:15,16).

YAF believes it is very imperative for Christians and the world as a whole to build their relationship with their Maker and yearn for the Holy Spirit to be embedded in them to cause a total transformation through Jesus Christ the light of the world by radiating the light through evangelism.

The need to connect to the Lord and admonishing Christians to read the Word of God, thus the Bible every day and pray with it to connect to the Lord as Christians is of keen interest to YAF hence the initiation of the evangelism week and the theme for this year’s week celebration.

YAF urges Christians and Young Adults to be good representatives of Christ (Christian) everywhere and live in peace with all men since “partial obedience is a total disobedience”

YAF was established in 2007 with the objectives of;

Attract, sustain and prepare for adult life the majority of the church’s young adults who fell out of active church membership.

Narrow or reconcile the disparity between PCG’s youth age bracket definition and that of the developed countries.

Train, coach and produce effective and efficient young adult leaders to help in the realization of the church’s goals.
