Presbyterian Church Of Ghana – Young Adult’s Fellowship.
One of the major decisions taken at the 2005 General Assembly held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in the Asante Presbytery was to create a new ministry of young adults in the church. That upper youth age limit was to be reduced from 35 years to 30 years and Young adults’ age begins at 30 years plus one day to 40 years. On behalf of my colleague National Officers, I express gratitude to the members of the Fellowship and the Church in general for the confidence reposed in us. This is a clear indication that the church and YAF members would equally be prepared to lend us the necessary support to enable us realize our aspirations for Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Young Adults’ Fellowship. (PCG YAF).
We want to assure the church that even though we have been placed in affairs to spearhead the Young Adults’ Fellowship, we are prepared to work hand in hand with the entire membership in all programs and projects.
We pray the good Lord for grace that we do not lord it over any group or individual in the church but provide service to the glory of God.
Christians and the world as a whole building their relationship with their Maker and yearning for the Holy Spirit to be embedded in them to cause a total transformation through Jesus Christ the light of the world by radiating the light will remain our target.
YAF urges Christians and Young Adults to be good representatives of Christ (Christian) everywhere and live in peace with all men since “partial obedience is a total disobedience”. We are humbled by the support we have received and keep receiving from the church, YAF members and Ghana as a whole. We are counting on your enormous support, advice and cooperation.
We are poised to bring aboard the church and YAF a change we can feel through the direction, strengthening and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
