YAF NATIONAL PRESIDENT VISITS UPPER AND NORTHERN PRESBYTERIES – INDUCTS NEW PRESBYTERY OFFICERS

The National President of the Young Adults’ Fellowship, Dr. Philip Kankam has paid a working visit to the Northern and Upper Presbyteries to familiarize himself with activities of the Fellowship in both Presbyteries.  The visit of the President, which is the first after his assumption of office coincided with this year’s YAF Evangelism Week Celebration. Dr. Kankam therefore used the opportunity to take part in some of the Evangelism Week activities in the Presbyteries

Dr. Kankam expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Church and the Fellowship in both Presbyteries for the work they have been doing and urged them not to rest since there were many areas that needed to be covered. The visit took him to the Paga, Navrongo, Garu, Sandema, Bolgatanga, Tamale and other places.

The Ntional President also paid a special visit and spent memorable time with pupils of the Bolgatanga Catholic School for Children with Special Needs where he donated YAF branded exercise books to them.

The President also donated various items during the visit to both presbyteries including YAF branded T-Shirts and Cups.

 

In the Northern Presbytery, the National President officiated in the Induction of the Newly Elected Officers of the Fellowship in the Presbytery at the Unity Congregation in Tamale.

In a brief message to the new Officers, the National President, Dr. Philip Kwaku Kankam urged them to allow themselves at all times for the leading of the Lord and never make any move based on their own will. He also urged them to come up innovative ideas that will help to improve the life of members in the Presbytery even as they work to improve their spiritual lives as well. The new Officers are under the leadership of Mr. Prosper Agbeli.
